Wedding Seating Chart: Compare is a focused table planner for engaged couples, wedding planners, venue coordinators and event professionals. Turn a guest list into a visual reception plan, save a baseline, make a revised version, then see every moved guest and changed table before you send the next packet to the venue.

CREATE THE GUEST LIST

Add guests manually, paste names or import a UTF-8 CSV file. Track parties, RSVP status, meal choice, accessibility notes, private planning notes and useful tags. Duplicate names are supported, declined guests remain in the roster, and import warnings are shown before anything changes.

PLAN TABLES AND SEATS

Add round, rectangular and head tables. Set each table's capacity, label and position. Assign guests with tap or drag controls, move a full party together, find open seats, rotate tables, undo changes and use Fit to View whenever the room gets busy. The guest lookup screen finds a name and shows the current table and seat in seconds.

CHECK CAPACITY AND GUEST RULES

Keep-together, keep-apart, preferred-table and avoid-table rules stay attached to the event. The audit lists unseated guests, over-capacity tables, duplicate assignments, unresolved rules and accessibility notes that still need an explicitly marked seat. Findings are deterministic checks against the information you entered. This app does not claim to make etiquette, safety, accessibility or venue-compliance decisions.

COMPARE VERSION A WITH VERSION B

Mark a plan as sent, duplicate it, and make the next revision without overwriting the baseline. Select any two versions to review moved guests, added or removed guests, table changes, newly introduced findings and resolved findings. Jump directly from the comparison to the affected guest. You can explain the revision instead of sending a new chart with no record of what changed.

EXPORT A VENDOR-READY PACKET

Create a practical PDF with the event summary, table diagram, per-table guest lists, meal and accessibility counts, alphabetical guest lookup, unseated and conflict summary, version changes and optional printable place cards. Export a CSV vendor list when a spreadsheet is the better handoff. Share only when you choose.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE-FIRST

No account, wedding website or cloud workspace is required. Guest names and event details stay in local app storage unless you explicitly export or share them. There are no ads, no contact import, no invitation messages, no public RSVP page and no remote AI service. JSON backup and restore keep your data portable without a subscription.
